Former model....turned photographer.....turned filmmaker...

Los Angeles based photographer Karen Murphy-Mundell is best known for her Visual Effects producing work in feature films such as TITANIC, THE MATRIX and HARRY POTTER & THE SORCERERS STONE.

Her current film presents the challenge of creating alternate universes for Juan Diego Solana's science fiction romance film UPSIDE DOWN,

When not creating award winning effects, Karen shoots portraits and live concert photography catering to the film and music industry. Her subjects run the range from Johnny Rotten to Mel Brooks.

Karen currently lives in Los Angeles with husband, guitarist Ed Mundell from the band Monster Magnet.
